Triceratops Skull with Fossil Display Stand!

I've been wanting to make a large(ish) scale skull of some sort for quite some time.. and decided that the Desert Tan Matte PLA I have for my car prints would be perfect to try this in! With the T-rex being the obvious first choice, I decided to go for something a little less common and with a bit more depth to the skull: The Triceratops was an obvious runner-up to design around.

This Skull is printed in 2 halfs with provided pegs to put it together. The pegs will likely require a small dab of glue to keep everything together, though some filaments/printers may result in a tigheter press-fit assembly. Because the model is printed in 2 halfs, there is a seam that runs directly down the middle.

This skull is quite large, but could be scaled slightly larger. The size revolves around the build plate limitation of the A1 printers, so if you are P/X series user (or even better, an H-series) you will be able to get a bit more  size out of the model if you just scale all the parts evenly.

The model comes with a “Fossil” display stand that sits the skull onto the provided cutout/shaft. It is not physically attached and can be rotated/removed.

As always, thank you for looking, enjoy the print and share your results!

Thank you for visiting my page and taking the time to print my models. Your support is truly appreciated. I never expected to have so many people following me and fueling my passion for creating the models that I create!
