Description

A highly detailed figurine of Geralt of Rivia, the legendary protagonist of The Witcher saga. This model features Geralt in his signature armor, leaning his silver sword on the trophy of a freshly hunted monster. Every detail, from the facial expression to the quilted armor texture and tattered cape, is crafted to delight any fan of Andrzej Sapkowski's world or the CD Projekt Red games.

Model Features:

Impressive base featuring a monster trophy and twisted branches.

Realistic depiction of witcher gear and weaponry.

Sturdy construction perfect for display.

Printing Tips:

Layer Height: To match the photo quality, I recommend 0.12mm or lower. The fine details of the face and the trophy base shine through at high resolutions.

Supports: Required for the cape, sword, and under the shoulders. Tree (Organic) supports are highly recommended to ensure clean removal from the intricate base.

Finishing: Looks fantastic in matte grey filament, which emphasizes the depth of the shadows on the armor.

An easy print, easy to clean, only issue is the front blade comes out "squiggly" but a bit of sanding fixed it. Would recommend, maybe with 0.2mm as I used 0.4mm.

how did you go about sanding it for the paint to stick ?

Replying to @Slyassassin34 :
I used 150grit for the larger areas and 300grit (as its more flexible) to get between smaller spaces then used a short bristle paint brush to dust it off before spraying black primer

There were only problems with the swords, both in hand and on the back. I had to use glue. but overall, a quick print. I liked it

I like the design and the print came out amazing. I used 0.2mm nozzle and after around 15h of printing voila! I think it has room for improvement. I used auto tree supports which proved a pain in the a@@ to remove. Sword and back sword hilt didn't survive the support extraction. Anyway thanks for the great design, I love the end result.

Nice model, but don't judge strictly by the coloring
