Wet Stone Dressing/Truing Jig

Description
Wetstone Truing and Dressing Tool to keep Stones round and flat.
I couldn't justify spending $125 for Tormek's little cast aluminum jig. This Jig works by locking down to the guide bar and slides the dressing tool back and forth on a 3/8" threaded rod. You can get your stone quickly squared up and true to your guide bar so that your tools will have a consistent grind on the cutting surface. I'll also be uploading a version with far less hardware that only requires the diamond dressing tool.
To attach the dressing tool to the jig, you will need to unscrew the head and put it in place first. Then put the handle through the hole and align the nut inside it to screw it back together. You may need a pencil or something to hold the nut while tightening it. The nuts and the coupler may be a tight fit. I used a hammer to drive them into place.
Materials needed:
(1) 3/8"-16 Threaded Rod (at least 6" long) - Can be found at Menards/Home Depot/ect. Amazon Link (between $2-$8)
(1) 3/8"-16 Coupling Nut - Also found at Menards/Home Depot. Amazon Link (between $4-$7) Not all threaded rod is perfectly straight. Try threading the coupler on the rod before putting it into the jig. If it binds, you may need to cut it in half. Paste wax also helps it slide easier.
(2) 3/8"-16 Hex Nuts - Also found at Menards/Home Depot. Amazon Link (between $1-$6)
(2) ¼"-20 Hex bolts (1" or longer) - Also found at Menards/Home Depot. Amazon Link (between $1-$7)
(1) Diamon Dressing tool - Amazon Link ($10)
