Omni Mesh is a modular, ultra-easy-to-assemble screen enclosure made for stick insects, leaf insects, and mantises. The base size is 20×20×26 cm, and you can extend it upwards by +25 cm per module—stack as tall as you want 🙂.
The enclosure uses printable mesh wall panels where you can control the mesh density by adjusting infill, so it fits different keepers and species needs. With the connector system, you can replace the top lid and reuse the legs to keep building higher, creating a clean vertical habitat perfect for climbers.
To improve visibility, use 2 mm plexiglass or print the front with transparent filament, and adjust infill to find the best balance between clarity and a proper barrier.
Slicer settings for the mesh panels (important)
To make the walls print as actual mesh (not a solid sheet), select the mesh wall objects and use:
- Bottom layers: 0
- Top layers: 0
- Infill pattern: Honeycomb
Infill enabled (so the slicer generates the mesh)
Best for: stick insects (phasmids), leaf insects, mantises
