Description

This custom-designed De'Longhi Milk Frothing Platform is a game-changer for your morning routine, specifically engineered to turn your manual steam wand into a hands-free, high-efficiency tool.

☕ Elevate Your Workflow

The primary goal of this model is productivity. Designed to perfectly fit the Breville Milk Frothing Cup with its built-in temperature indicator, this platform allows you to walk away from the machine. Instead of standing over the wand, you can prep your beans or clean up, knowing a quick glance at the temperature strip will tell you exactly when your milk is at the perfect 60-70 degree mark.

🛠️ Precision Engineering

Frothing milk is a science of depth. This platform features a modular, two-level system to ensure the steam wand sits at the ideal height for different volumes:

Level 1 (Lower): Optimized for 2 cups of milk.

Level 2 (Higher): Optimized for 1 cup only.

The Result: By controlling the height, the wand stays submerged just enough to create rich microfoam without blowing out the milk or failing to incorporate air.

🧲 Smart, Modular Design

Magnetic Hot-Swapping: I’ve integrated custom-sized magnet holes into the design. This allows you to snap the top sections on and off instantly, making it effortless to switch between single and double-cup heights mid-workflow.

Fully Customizable: Included files are designed for easy customization, so you can adjust dimensions if you use a different frother or need unique heights for your specific setup.

🖨️ Print Settings & Material Advice

I’ve spent significant time fine-tuning this model for a seamless printing experience:

Material: PETG is strongly recommended. After testing with PLA, I found it couldn't withstand the ambient heat from the machine over time. PETG or ABS/ASA will ensure your platform remains rigid and durable.

No Supports Required: The geometry has been optimized to print cleanly without any support material, saving you cleanup time and waste.

Filament Efficiency: I recommend using Adaptive Cubic infill. This provides the necessary structural support for the cup while significantly reducing filament consumption.

Spend less time standing by your machine and more time enjoying a cafe-quality latte!
