Description

This is a clamp, tray, handle and lighting mount system for the DiveVolk SeaTouch Max 4 phone housing.

I didn't feel like spending $200+ on a tray system for my DiveVolk housing for an upcoming trip, so I decided to make my own. This model includes a snap-fit clamp that attaches to the DiveVolk housing, an Arca rail for mounting the housing to, and allows it to be mounted on a tripod easily, and 1" ball mounts for adding lights. So far this is untested underwater; I will be testing it over the coming weeks. Let me know if it works for you!

Other files I am using with my housing that you may have noticed in my pictures:

Hardware required:

(2x) ¼-20 Brass Heat Inserts

(2x) ¼-20 x 2-½" Stainless Socket Cap Screw

(2x) ¼-20 x 1" Stainless Button Head Screw

(2x) ¼ Stainless Washers

(2x) ¼-20 Stainless Nuts

(2x) O-rings: 1/8" W ¾" ID 1" OD

I also used ABS Cement to glue the handles on the rail, but they are a quite snug fit even without that.

There is only one file provided for the handle - just mirror it in your slicer to get a handle for both sides.

The Clamp is a very snug fit on the housing - I heated the part with a hairdryer to slightly soften it before attaching it. Make sure you put the nuts in the slots before clamping it on the housing!

Recommend printing in 100% infill, with ASA or PETG. If you don't print 100% infill, it may collapse at depth, unless you add holes and use gyroid to allow water in/out of the whole structure. 100% ASA is slightly negatively buoyant.
