Description

I wanted a way to add a cold air intake to my Porsche 924s. It didn't come with the original airbox when I bought it and these are getting hard to come by. However, a 924 Turbo front facia had been fitted which has the four dash style vents on the badge panel, along with a K&N Orion Cone Filter. The ducts I have designed capture air in a similar way to the original 924 alternator duct but now captures all air entering the engine bay via the badge panel. One duct will slot straight in on the left of the engine bay whilst the right hand side will need a small amount of metal removed to make the duct fill the entire space. These ducts can then feed cold air via four 35mm ID hoses to a filter of your choice. I have designed a replacement shroud for my K&N Orion which is available here but I can't see why it wouldn't work with other filter setups.
