Description

Experience the formidable side of 19th-century ballistics with this precise 1:1 scale model of a Lefaucheux 14 gauge pinfire shotgun shell. This powerful caliber exemplifies the robust engineering of the era, where the self-contained metallic cartridge brought unprecedented reliability and stopping power to hunters and sportsmen. By merging the primer, powder charge, and shot payload into a single, weatherproof brass unit, the pinfire system ended the reign of fragile paper cartridges and slow muzzle-loading.

Faithfully reproduced from historical specifications, this model captures the substantial form factor of this now-obsolete gauge. To achieve the authentic look, cut a 10mm piece of 1.75mm filament and carefully insert it into the side port to create the signature firing pin.

An impressive display piece for historians, a unique addition to a vintage hunting collection, or an excellent prop for period dramas and gaming.
