AYN Thor Lid modeled by stormpanda

This is my custom recreation (from scratch) of the AYN Thor upper lid shell. There is another model (see the end on the description) that inspired me to make this custom once since I was not fully satisfied with the print quality.

This model was built by me in Autodesk Fusion. It took me quite some iterations to make it “perfect”, but I am very happy with the result!

Please note that this is not a 1 to 1 match of the original lid. Instead I focused the model on simplicity and efficiency for 3D Printing. For example, the clips are a bit less wide to provide more tolerance and the borders are less rounded to improve print quality. The model can be printed without support with the settings provided.

The Design is interchangeable, just provide your own SVG and get creative!

Tested on Bambulab P1S with all kinds of PLA.

This model, which is based on a 3D print by Tekgnome from the Handheldmodz Discord server gave me the Idea since I was not perfectly satisfied with the geometry of the scan.
