Description

“But one of them caught our eye - the one in the center. He would neither go towards the feeding grounds, at the edge of the ice, nor return to the colony. Shortly afterwards we saw him heading straight towards the mountains, some seventy kilometers away” - “But why?

This lamp was created to accompany Werner Herzog’s documentary “Begegnung am Ende der Welt”.

Print Settings

For the lithographs, use the “0.12mm Fine” print profile and ensure the wall loops are sufficiently high to prevent infill patterns or achieve 100% infill.

Feel free to experiment with other print profiles but I recommend sticking to a maximum layer height of 0.20mm.

The “0.20mm standard” print profile is perfectly adequate for the housing.

Filament

I used PLA Matt white and PLA Matt black for my lamp.

Of course, you can experiment with other filaments.

I hope you enjoy making the lamp and I’d love to see your results!
