Startrek TOS Type II Phaser stand

This is a stand designed to fit the Star Trek TOS Phaser (Type2) EZ model by Krag.

This prints on a single plate and the print profile is set to “print by object”. I recommend a very clean smooth build plate as the gold emblem bezel prints face down. The bezel is very thin so be sure your plate is cool before removal to avoid warping. No glue should be needed but it wouldn't hurt either.

Note that this was made for the A1 but it can be printed on a mini. Put the base and the sign on one plate and the bezel on another. Auto Arrange the parts in studio and you can print by object. Alternatively put each part on a separate plate.

For colors I used esun pla+ black and a gold PLA Silk I found on amazon.

Assembly is straight forward.

I borrowed design inspiration from a couple of different models, namely, this one and this one.

While digging up the URLs for the above attributions I also found this stand (I promise I didn't know it existed when I made this one LOL) and it looks like it may also work for Krag's model but I can't say for sure.
