 Saturn Orbiter: The Toric-Elliptic Fidget

The central sphere glides effortlessly inside a specially designed toric-elliptic ring, creating a mesmerizing "floating" sensation.

Key Features :

  • Unique Geometry: The elliptical torus shape fits naturally in the palm, offering a more ergonomic grip than standard spinners.

Print Settings & Options :

This model includes two distinct profiles to suit your printer and patience.

It uses dowels for the assembly !

Feel free to use a little bit of glue if the tolerances doesn't work great with your printer.

Option 1: 

  • Supports: NONE required.
  • Assembly: Prints flat in separate parts. Snap the ring halves together using small dowels (included in files) or a drop of CA glue for a permanent bond.

Option 2: 

  • Supports: Required (Tree/Organic supports recommended for the central ball).
  • Assembly: Ring only
  •  

⚙️ Recommended Settings

  • Material: PLA or PETG (for a smoother glide).
  • Infill: 5-20% (5% works)
