Description
This detailed replica shows a typical compact transformer station, as found in almost every residential area or parking lot. It is an indispensable part of our infrastructure and functions as an interface in the energy supply.
Function: The main task of the station is to convert the incoming medium voltage from the regional power grid (usually 10,000 to 20,000 Volts) into usable low voltage. Inside, a transformer reduces the voltage to 400 Volts or 230 Volts by means of electromagnetic induction, so that the electricity can be safely used in households, businesses, and charging stations.
The model is designed for H0 scale and for printing with a 0.2mm nozzle. Printing takes significantly longer, but the details and surface finish are much better this way.
I would be happy to see pictures of the model on the model railway. That and a boost or two would encourage me to publish more models :)
