Description

At a Glance: This highly detailed miniature depicts a somber, hooded angel statue praying atop a crumbling stone staircase. It is perfect as a centerpiece for tabletop terrain, a mysterious objective marker in RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons or Pathfinder, or simply as a beautiful, gothic display piece.

Lore of the Sentinel: Deep within the overgrown heart of the Fallen Necropolis, where sunlight rarely pierces the canopy, stands the Silent Sentinel. For centuries, the city around her crumbled into dust, its name forgotten by history. Yet she remains, carved from unyielding stone, hands eternally clasped in silent prayer.

Is she guarding a sacred tomb beneath the pedestal? Is she weeping for the lost souls of the kingdom? Adventurers who stumble upon her overgrown clearing report an eerie stillness, a feeling of being watched by unblinking, stone eyes. Some say she is a mere statue; others believe she is a powerful celestial being frozen in time, waiting for the right moment to awaken.

Model Details & Printing: This model features intricate details on the feathered wings, flowing robes, and the weathered cracks of the stone plinth steps.

  • Scale: This miniature is designed to fit comfortably into standard 28mm-32mm tabletop scales but contains enough detail to be scaled up significantly for a large display piece.
  • Printing Recommendations:
    • FDM: As shown in the example photos, this prints beautifully on FDM printers. We recommend using a lower layer height (0.12mm or 0.16mm) to capture the fine details of the robes and feathers. Matte grey or "stone/marble" filaments look fantastic.
    • Resin: For the ultimate level of detail, a resin printer is highly recommended.
  • Supports: Supports are necessary, particularly for the underside of the wings and the overhangs of the stone steps.
