Description

Here is my version of the FlipDeck/Kick Deck.

In this version, the width an the depth of the magnets is fully parametric. Magnets with a width of up to 8 mm can be parameterized (please make sure to include the tolerance; +0.2 mm has always worked well for me, but this varies from printer to printer). If you enter a larger diameter (>8.5 mm), they will no longer fit in the FlipDeck and will ruin the look.

I have uploaded 3 different magnet sizes that have worked for me.
One version each for 5 x 3 mm, 6 x 3mm, and 8 x 3mm magnets.

I have modified the file so that magnets from 1 mm to 4 mm can now be parameterized. This means that the magnet size is now fully parameterizable.

The printing must be stopped before the hole for the magnets is covered, and then the magnets can be inserted.

With my print profiles, the printer stops automatically at layer 23. Once the magnets have been inserted, you can simply resume printing. I have seen several versions for the arrangement of the magnets. Here are the three options I know of. Most people get along best with Version 1. I would also recommend Version 1 to  people who are undecided.

But just try it out and share your experiences in the comments to help people decide.

If you would like to share the file on social media, I have no problem with that. On the contrary, I am delighted if you like it so much. But please link to my model so that we both benefit.

If you have any problems with this print, please contact me and I will try to adjust the file.

But now, have fun with my model!
And if you like it, show me your version of the FlipDeck by posting a make.
