Description

Our 2007 Toyota 4Runner was missing the Y and O from the front grille emblem, so I modeled the missing letters and printed replacements. The size and shape closely match the factory emblem and were test fit on a 2007 4Runner.

The letters can be installed in a few different ways. They can be glued in place using automotive trim adhesive, epoxy, or strong double-sided tape. For a more secure and serviceable install, I added threaded inserts to the prints and bolted them from behind the grille, which worked great and held everything in place.

PETG is probably better than PLA since this part sits on the front of the car or truck and is exposed to heat, sun, and weather, but I did mine in PLA and I plan on replacing them in the future with PETG. PETG will hold up much better long term in automotive conditions, though PLA can work temporarily.

This is a great solution if your front emblem is damaged, missing letters, or you just want to go with the Pizza Planet truck!
