Description

🧬 Double Helix Fidget | No Supports

A smooth, satisfying double helix fidget toy inspired by the classic DNA structure. The intertwined strands rotate and flex against each other, creating a calming, tactile motion that’s perfect for stress relief, focus, and idle hands.

This model is designed to print without supports, making it a reliable and beginner-friendly print. Straight off the build plate, the helix moves freely and provides a subtle, addictive fidget action.

Why you’ll like it:

  • No supports
  • Smooth spinning and tactile feedback
  • Durable and pocket-friendly
  • Great desk toy, stress toy, or gift print

Print tips:

  • Prints cleanly on most FDM printers
  • Looks great in single colour or dual-colour filament
  • Slightly flexible filaments enhance the fidget feel

Perfect for your desk, workspace, or print-and-gift projects. A simple, satisfying fidget that showcases motion and design in a compact print.

Assembly:

  1. Print out all parts in whatever combination of colours you like:

  2. Put both gears together so they mesh smoothly:

  3. Put the piece with the large pegs through the two holes on the gears to lock them, and then flip them over so that the top of the pegs are facing and then apply a small amount of super glue to the top of the pegs. Be careful not to put too much, as you may glue the gears in place.

  4. Carefully put the cap on the pegs, locking in the gears and completing the fidget, enjoy!
