This 3D-printable support is designed to securely hold tablets and portable displays.
It can be mounted either:
- to a shelf or table using a clamp mount, or
- to an IKEA SKÅDIS pegboard using the dedicated SKÅDIS mount.
Both the device support frame and the clamp mount are fully customizable through the MakerWorld parametric editor, allowing them to be adapted to different devices and mounting surfaces while remaining compatible with each other.
Hardware
The clamping mechanism uses two compression springs:
- Length: 30 mm
- Diameter: 5–6 mm
They can be easily purchased from many hardware stores or online, from the Bambu Store by referring to the Kits & parts section, or through marketplaces such as AliExpress, Amazon, and similar platforms.
Assembly

- deviceThicknessUP – upper thickness of the device
- deviceThicknessDW – lower thickness of the device
- deviceDWAngle – angle of the device’s lower edge
- deviceHeight – overall device height
- Fillet – edge rounding for comfort and aesthetics
Clamp Mount Customization Parameters

Printing Tips
- An example print profile is included for an 11" iPad Pro mounted on a shelf approximately 25 mm thick.
- This profile can also be reused by importing your customized parts and replacing the corresponding components.
- ⚠️ Remember to re-enable supports for the generated device frame:
- Type: normal (auto)
- Style: snug
- I also recommend to print the Frame with a brim.
- The clamp mount does not require supports and can be printed exactly as exported from the editor.

UPDATE JAN 28: Clamped plate available for Tiltmate & Foldmate

Tiltmate and Foldmate are two tablet stands that I designed and two of my most successful models. With these plate mounts, it is possible to attach the support to the stands, providing a more secure and stable grip for the intended device.
