Ceiling Mount / Hanger for RC Airplanes – Avios PBY Catalina 1.9 m

This ceiling mount is designed to safely store RC airplanes under the ceiling, saving space while keeping your model secure.
It was specifically designed for the Avios PBY Catalina 1.9 m, but the modular design allows it to be easily adapted to other RC aircraft with similar wingspans and weight.

The mount uses PVC pipes as support arms, covered with protective foam to prevent damage to the wings. Pipe length can be adjusted to match the wingspan of your model.

Required hardware & materials:

• Wood or other screws: 30 mm length, 4.5–5 mm diameter
• Ceiling wall plugs: 6 mm
• Screws for plugs: e.g. 50 mm
• PVC pipe Ø20 mm – 2 pieces
  • Recommended length: ~30 cm each
  • Length can be adjusted depending on wingspan
• Protective foam matched to the pipe diameter
• Alternative materials can be used if preferred
