Description
My 996TTs have a bunch of these broken airbox clips, which are mostly decorative to hide the screw and nut and prevent the nut from falling out at the very beginning of assembly. I've seen some other models and even ones people are selling for kind of crazy amounts. My own design based on my good versions remaining on my airbox which took a few hours with calipers and a few test prints.
Came out pretty nice in ABS but I printed in PA6-CF for good measure. I beefed up one dimension past spec with 1 more mm to help beef it up, the thin piece the screw reacts against where the original breaks. STEP and Fusion files are here too have at it.
The 996 GT3 and 996 GT2 also have these airbox clips / covers as well and should work.
