Description

Zappy is a compact ESP32-based two-channel relay module that allows you to remotely control devices over Wi-Fi.

It is designed to work with LoopMax, a modular operating system I developed to manage ESP32 projects in a clean, scalable, and reusable way.
LoopMax makes it easy to build applications composed of independent modules, suitable for home automation, IoT control, and custom projects.
More details here:

🔌 What Zappy can do

  • Control two independent relays
  • Turn devices ON / OFF remotely
  • Suitable for lights, sockets, automation systems, DIY IoT projects
  • The images show the simple and reliable circuit used in the module
  • NEW: Added PinScheduler — each channel can now be programmed independently
  • Two scheduling modes available: one‑time events and weekly recurring programs

🧠 Requirements

  • ESP32 with Wi-Fi 4 MB flash.

This project is part of a modular ecosystem and can be easily extended with additional modules.

     Safety Disclaimer
  • This project involves mains voltage and potentially dangerous currents.
It is intended for users with basic experience in electronics and electrical safety.
  • Always disconnect power before working on the circuit and follow local regulations.
  • Use this project at your own risk. The author is not responsible for injuries, damaged devices, burned houses, unexpected fireworks, or other creative disasters caused by improper use.

    🕒 PinScheduler (NEW)
  • A new update introduces full scheduling capabilities. When operating in LAN Mode with an active internet connection, the device automatically synchronizes its internal clock. Thanks to the new Scheduler class, Zappy 2ch can now manage two types of On/Off programs:
  • ✔️ Weekly Schedule

  • Repeats automatically on selected days of the week.
    LoopMax Embedded OS
  • ✔️ One‑Time Schedule

  • Executes once at the specified date and time, then automatically expires.
