Heart Locket (30 minute print!)

This is a compact 3D-printed heart locket designed as a modern take on a classic keepsake. The outer heart slides opens to reveal a smaller inner heart, creating a layered, nested design capable of holding images of your loved ones, favorite sayings, and/or special dates.
 

The locket uses four 6mm x 2mm small magnets to snap closed, keeping it shut during everyday use while still being easy to open. It’s lightweight, durable, and sized to work well as a necklace or keychain accessory. 
The top layer used concentric to give a texture that highlights toward the center of the heart, whilst reducing seam noise on the face.
 

This model works well as a gift, a personal token, or a simple decorative piece. It can be printed in a single color or with contrasting filaments to emphasize the inner heart. PLA prints cleanly (example printed in Bambu Labs PLA Basic Maroon Red (10205)), but PETG or other tougher filaments will add durability if it’s meant to be worn daily.

Supports are required, and tolerances are tuned for reliable magnet (2mm x 6mm) fit without glue and smooth opening/closing when printed at 0.12mm layer heights, resolution of 0.001 and Arachne wall generator.
