Description
These are custom-designed clips for the Heidrun Tex Box 70L (and potentially other sizes in the Tex Box range). I designed these to provide a firmer seal for my 3D filament storage box, ensuring that the lid stays tightly pressed against the rim to keep humidity out.
The clips are designed to snap securely onto the rim of the box. While they were specifically modeled for the 70L version (570×380×400 mm), they may fit smaller or larger Heidrun Tex Boxes, as many share the same edge profile—though this is currently untested.
Customization & Printing Tips
- Adjustable Length: The provided STL file has a default length of 15 cm. If you need a shorter or longer clip, you can easily scale the model only in the Z-axis in your slicer.
- Stability: It is highly recommended to use a Brim during printing. Because the model is printed on its side to ensure structural strength, a brim will prevent the corners from warping and ensure it stays stuck to the bed.
Recommended Print Settings
- Material: PETG or ASA (for better flexibility and longevity under tension).
- Perimeters: 2 for maximum durability.
- Orientation: Print on its side.
- Bed Adhesion: Use a Brim.
