Silverlit Exost Thunderclap RC Steering Suspension

Replacement part for the steering suspension / axle of the Exost Thunderclap by Silverlit RC car.

I printed the first version with PLA, which seems to work surprisingly well due to the orientation of the print. I expect it to be broken again sooner or later and will then re-print with PLA Tough+. To replace the axle, you need to carefully remove the cover (caution: plastic clips!)  and loosen a couple of screws. The metal bolt on the wheel needs to be carefully pulled with pliers. It may help to remove the broken axle first.

Update: After my kids broke the PLA version, I strengthened the connection piece that broke twice (original and replacement were broken at the same spot) and printed with PLA Tough+. Please use the reinforced print profile to try this version.
