Description

This is an extension for a sink water faucet. It is designed to be universal, fitting most standard home water faucets. It is affixed to the faucet using cable ties or zip ties. There are 3 versions contained within the single profile I uploaded. One that snaps together with a dovetail connector (my favorite). One that screws together with M3 Screws, and one that prints as a single, solid piece. The screw in version is height adjustable (3 height options depending on where you install the screws). I recommend PETG for hot water temperature resistance, however PLA should work fine if the water isn't left running scalding hot for too long.

Printed great in translucent petg. No issues at all.

Prints great but not designed for wider faucets and that kind of sucks because it doesn't grip the faucet very well unless you kind of force it on

actually I did I'm sorry you can't handle constructive feedback but while I'm at it the sides are very weak as well. You're the one that labeled it as universal. If it doesn't fit wider faucets it's clearly not universal. I also printed one out for another person that actually fit in the confines of the print. If they didn't use 53 zip ties it would be flopping around like a wet noodle. So let's see, brittle, ✔️ walls too thin with not enough infill, ✔️. Not universal as stated, ✔️. and I cut myself when it broke from not enough infill. If that's not worth 2 stars I don't know what is. The point of these ratings is so that people know what they are getting into before they waste money on something that doesn't work. Want to keep a good rating? Make improvements release a V2. I'll happily give it a try and give you a fair rate. As it stands it's not great I'm sorry but it's true.

I am happy to educate you on a few facts. 1) Universal fit definition: "A universal fit refers to a product, typically an accessory or component, designed to be compatible with a wide range of devices, models, or systems without requiring specific customization or adaptation. It aims to provide a one-size-fits-all solution, ensuring versatility and ease of use across different brands, sizes, or configurations." - Universal fit does not mean it fits everything, but rather it "aims" to. 2) Thin walls: this design element was intentional, as an aid for the "universal fit" goal. To enable flexibility for wider faucets, when printed in PETG as recommended. 3) Low Infill: See fact #2 4) Brittle: PETG, the recommended filament, is far from brittle when stored and printed properly. It's actually quite flexible, especially when compared to actual brittle materials, such as PLA. 5) You cut yourself - I can't issue common sense through my print profile. That one is on you.
