Description

I print small, flexible 3D models and heat-press them directly onto T-shirts.
This creates unique and durable 3D prints that combine 3D printing technology with fashion 👕🖨️
A simple way to create your own custom style.

Instructions 🛠️👕

  1. Download the model and open it in Bambu Studio 💻
  2. After printing, carefully remove the model from the build plate.
    ⚠️ Avoid sudden movements — the model is only 0.3 mm thick and can be easily damaged or torn.
  3. Prepare your ironing area: set up an ironing board and an iron, then preheat the iron 🔥
  4. Place the T-shirt on the ironing board, position the printed model on the desired area, and cover it with heat-resistant paper (e.g. baking/parchment paper) 📄
  5. Using the preheated iron, press onto the model (or move the iron evenly, depending on the size of the model) for 15–20 seconds ⏱️
  6. Wait a moment, then remove the paper. The model should separate easily and remain on the T-shirt ✅
  7. (Optional) Turn the T-shirt inside out and iron the area where the model is applied for an additional 5–10 seconds 👕✨

    Important :⚠️

    T-shirts with prints should be washed at a temperature not exceeding 50°C (122°F).
    Washing at higher temperatures may cause the model to peel off from the fabric 🧼🌡️

so in short.... you can use any filement? and any design you like, just make it 0.3? but if you make a big print will the top become stiff?

it’s very doable, but it’s super dependent on the type of heat and press you have. I tried with an iron. I upgraded and had better results but similar issues. work in progress. Check in later ha ha ha.

just make it in a 3D platform. (e.g. fusion, tinkercad, blender, sketchUP, freeCAD)

I'm using Corel Draw to design projects. Then export is as an SVG-file. In Bambu Lab studio I import it as a SVG-file in a new project. Magical it shows up like an object. The standard hight are 10 mm in Sweden, so I change it to the hight I want and then print it. Of course you can put together several parts, but that's another story...
