printed out 1 and fits great. quick question about infill. 15% seems rather light. is that because these brackets are really more for orientation than structure?

That’s correct, it’s more of a guide than an actual brace. with the proper length screw it should come together nicely. I did crack a few as I put screws through.

so I made 8 and put my work bench together and Im pleased however since you have to flip them to use them correctly, I think I would be preferential to having two different kids one for left and one for right? does that make sense

I'm also wondering the same thing. On the two that you have to flip, that creates a difference in height from the other two that are oriented correctly. I wish I knew how to cad, I would modify the file to accommodate a left and a right. Edit: since I'd already printed all 8 brackets and have all the wood cut, stained and ready to be assembled, I figured I'd give this a try. I took a dremel to the ones that were in the wrong orientation and made it work! Pic included of original bracket (left) and modified (right). I'm sure someone with halfway decent cad skills could just create the opposite side bracket and none of this would be necessary. But I made it work for me! I'll come back with more photos once I'm done building the workbench.

prints well, granted it cracks when assembling but that's because I use a impact driver and did full send on the screws. only complaint/feedback I have is when using painted 2x4, it was a little too tight on the main vertical post holes. fraction of a inch bigger and it would be perfect BUT as is, it keeps it in place tightly for assembly.

Trying to convert this into an L-Shape. Any ideas on the corner piece (guess it needs to be a 3 way?) and the back support?
