Summary

Want a cutaway model showing an A-10 Warthog Depleted Uranium round smashing through tank armor?  This life-size model depicts an Armor Piercing round as its blasting through composite tank armor.  You can see each layer and details from the inside and outside armor of the tank.

Are there other cutaways you'd like to see?  Let me know in the comments and I may be able to make it happen :-)

Filaments used

  • Tank Armor
    • Bambu Metal Iron Gray Black
    • Bambu Silk+ Silver
    • CC3D Silk Antique Gold (Amazon link)
    • Sunlu Silk Red Copper (Amazon link)
    • Polymaker Army Green (Amazon link)
      • Bambu Matte Dark Green would work too
  • Depleted Uranium Round
  • Unfired Round Casing

Assembly takes seconds

1. Simply use the provided screw bolts to connect the 3 pieces together as shown below.  Be sure not to over tighten the screws.

2. Then insert the bullet/round, and that's it.  The round should pop into place when fully inserted so it doesn't fall back out.
