Description
I developed this iPhone Fold (or iPhone Ultra) concept back in October after buying an iPhone Air and reading 9to5Mac’s coverage of Apple’s rumored folding device. Like a lot of people, I connected the Air to the Fold as a likely end goal of that R&D, so I built this concept around that idea and layered in a few things I missed from the Pro line, like LiDAR and multiple cameras. Whether any of that is technically feasible is well above my pay grade.
The hinge and sides are designed to accept 1.3 mm armature wire (a paperclip also works). The diameter of the holes is 1.85mm, so theoretically it should accept a piece of filament too, but I could not get this to work, and increasing the diameter further would make it too fragile, which is why I settled on the wire.
