New arrivals:
🌀 OrbitSpin – Axis-Free Orbit Fidget
Print it. Orbit it. <50 min print.
OrbitSpin is a self-orbiting fidget with open mechanics. Instead of rotating around a fixed axis, the movement travels through the object itself – a continuous orbit, created solely by geometry. Printed in one piece, without supports, in under 50 minutes with simple PLA.
Note on First Use
The joints are printed directly in place and must be carefully freed. After a few minutes of breaking in, OrbitSpin will run noticeably smoother – without bearings or lubrication.
Update: Community feedback implemented! 🚀
Many of you love the OrbitSpin, but had issues with fused joints when using Silk PLA or less precise printers.
I listened! The "Smooth & Easy" Edition is now available.
- +0.25mm extra tolerance in the joints.
- No more "breaking free" required.
- Runs buttery smooth from the first layer.
Happy printing! – FloW
