Description
Deep powder RC snow tracks designed for the ARRMA 3S line (granite, typhoon, vortex, big rock).
Designed for up to 12 inches of fresh powder. However, by popular demand i have uploaded a universal frame set along with 12mm hexes 17mm hexes for all your snow slaying needs. please give me feedback on the 17mm hex drive gear fitment as I do not have own a truck with that size hex.
Model Tips: PLA Filament
Frames and Drive Gear: 4 walls, 15% infill with supports, 5 top and bottom layers, seams randomized
Tracks: 3 walls, 15% infill with supports, 4 top and bottom layers, seams aligned. 1.75mm PETG filament used for track pins, soldering each end of the small piece.
Roller Wheel: 2 Walls, 15% infill with supports, 4 top and bottom layers, seams randomized
Additional Equipment Needed:
6mm air soft bb's
Recommended: Break in at slow speeds for 5 minutes on 50% power or less. After broken in, lubricate bearings (shock oil, veggie oil, any type). Don't run on full power as your car may overheat.
Picture shows back track mixed with narrow front track to save on print time.
A full set requires 88 front track segments, 92 rear track segments, 16 roller wheels, 4 drive gears, 1 frame for each respective corner. 18 6mm bbs per roller wheel, 21 bbs per drive gear.
For the universal frames and bolt through tracks….. they require m3x12 button head screws
