Description
This is my gnome of Deanna Troi from TNG.
Hope you enjoy it.
I recommend applying bondo spot putty (from the tube) or similar wood fillers and mix with acetone to dilute it and then paint the figurine and sand to cover up all those print layer lines. Then paint it and it will look great!
If you are using it for the garden I would recommend PETG or ASA because PLA will eventually fail under the UV of the sun.
If you are using ASA you can probably just brush acetone on the model to get rid of the layer lines without the bondo because acetone will slightly melt ASA which, imho, is one of the great things about using ASA.
Enjoy and live long and prosper!
