Recommended Print Settings
To achieve the best results, I recommend the following settings:
- Material: PLA (Matte Black or Charcoal works best for a "wrought iron" look).
- Nozzle: 0.4mm.
- Layer Height: 0.2mm or 0.28mm for a faster print.
- Infill: 15-20% (Gyroid recommended for strength).
- Wall Loops: 3 for extra rigidity.
- Top/Bottom Layers: 4 layers for a smooth surface finish.
- Support: No supports needed! It’s designed to print flat on the bed.
Assembly Tips
If you want to replicate the look in the cover photo:
- Frame: Use a 30x30cm (or larger) wooden frame.
- Background: Place a white or off-white cardstock behind the print to make the silhouette pop.
- Mounting: Use a few drops of superglue or thin double-sided tape to secure the print to the backing.
