Description

This is Uncle Remus from the 1946 Disney movie The Song of the South. Portrayed by actor James Baskett ( Feb 16,1904- July 9,1948) . His performance included singing the song "Zip-a - Dee-Doo - Dah. He was awarded an Honorary Academy Award for his portrayal of Uncle Remus in 1948.
