Simplecore redux z for 200mm belt and mgn9 rail

Modified Z Motor Mount – 200 mm Belt & Geared Pulley Clearance

This is a modified Z motor mount for the SimpleCore Redux, designed to support a 200 mm Z belt and provide additional clearance for a geared Z pulley compared to the stock mount.

The design includes integrated locating features for an MGN9 linear rail, intended to be mounted using M3 heat-set inserts (M3 ×4 × 5) for accurate and repeatable alignment. To improve reliability, the mount also includes a dedicated nut for constraining the pulley axle, preventing axial movement during operation.

A STEP file is included, making the part easy to modify for different Z rail sizes or custom SimpleCore Redux configurations. This allows quick adaptation to other linear rails without needing to redesign the entire mount.

Printing Notes

• Print in a stiff, dimensionally stable material (PETG, ABS, ASA, or Nylon recommended)
• Use heat-set inserts for best strength and long-term durability

Assembly 

• Use m3 heatset inserts on the nut and m3 grupscrews to tighten it against the washer
• Mount the f695 bearings on the outside of the mount with washer between bearing and nut.
