Description
Hello Community! Thank you for checking out my version of the Peach Medallion from Mario Kart World
This design is not a 1:1 replica of what's available in the game. The in-game Medallion felt excessively thick, so I created this design more for printability in mind.
There's not really a 3D model available out there for the coin, so I took screenshots of the Medallion in game and created the vectors in illustrator by hand. All CAD work was done in Onshape and is publicly available if you search for ‘Peach Medallion’ in the application.
I've included 3 versions of the medallion
-Standard Double-sided Peach (printed vertically)
-Peach/Logo coin designed for easy printing
-Peach with plain back for easy customization
I highly suggest trying my print profiles since I did a lot of trial and error to get the finishes just right.
The double-sided print can be optimized if you use an interface material and/or print at a higher resolution.
