Never get caught without a puck again! This 3D printable emergency junior hockey puck is designed to save the game when the real one gets lost or stores are sold out—a common problem during the season.
This model matches the standard European youth puck dimensions (60mm diameter, 20mm height). While it's an emergency solution, it's perfectly suitable for amateur, casual, or street hockey.
The 3D Print Advantage:
- Customizable Weight & Safety: A lower infill creates a lighter puck, making it safer and easier for younger children to play with. A higher infill (e.g., 70-90%) with TPU material makes it nearly indistinguishable from the standard 90-gram youth puck.
- Always Available: Print one whenever you need it.
Recommended Print Settings:
- Material: PETG or TPU (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED). TPU with high infill is the closest to a real puck. PLA or ASA also work.
- Walls/Perimeters: 5 or more for a durable shell.
- Infill: Adjustable. Higher = heavier/more solid (closer to 90g). Lower = lighter/safer for kids.
- Supports: No.
- Brim: No.
