Description
This is a fully parametric electrical cable junction box designed for outdoor and indoor use, achieving IP44 protection thanks to TPU seals.
The box is designed to be 3D printed and easily adjustable to different cable diameters and installation needs.

š§ IP44 Protection ā Important Notes
IP44 protection is achieved by:
- TPU 95A sealing gasket between the lid and the box
- Two TPU cable seals for cable entry
ā ļø Important:
To maintain IP44 protection, the TPU cable hole diameter must be correctly selected to closely match the outer diameter of the cable.
If the hole is too loose, water may enter the box.
š§µ Materials & Printing
- Box & Lid: PETG (recommended for outdoor durability)
- Seals: TPU 90A
- Top lid seal (between lid and box)
- Two cable seals
All seals are designed as separate TPU parts for reliable flexibility and compression.

- Lid fastening using M3 socket head screws (Allen)
- Threaded inserts are used for repeated opening and long-term durability

š© Mounting Holes (Inside the Box)
Inside the box, there are two pre-marked closed mounting holes for wall or surface installation.
These holes are slightly reinforced upward and suitable for screws up to 4 mm diameter.
It is recommended to pre-drill the holes with a small drill bit before inserting the screws.
