Description

This model is designed to create a simple, reusable silicone mold for casting a minimalist gypsum container.

The mold was made using RTV-2 silicone (Shore A 25 hardness), offering excellent flexibility and durability with up to 600% stretch, making demolding smooth and stress-free. It requires approximately 100 ml of silicone to produce the mold.

For casting, polymer gypsum works best. Each pour uses around 150ml (in case of gypsum I used it's 220-230g of gypsum powder plus water), resulting in a clean, solid container with a smooth surface finish.

An assembly and usage animation is included to show the assembly process, making the process easy even for first-time users. For securing outer supports use binder clips. To make mould release easier, cover inner plug in very thin layer of coconut oil or any other grease that does not react with silicone.

Simple design, reliable results, and easy to use. Enjoy!
