Smart trainer weight bracket

Smart trainer – Rear Leg Weight Bracket for Increased Stability

This weight bracket is designed to mount onto the rear legs of smart trainers, allowing you to add extra weight using weight bags or similar loads.

The purpose is to increase the total mass of the trainer to improve stability during high-power workouts, sprints, and out-of-the-saddle efforts – helping to keep the trainer firmly in place and prevent movement. 

Weight bracket is designed for jetblack victory smart trainer with round legs. However, the bracket could also fit other trainers with round feet. please note that i only have testet with jetblack victory. Leg dimentions on this trainer are 38mm

you will also need the following (double if printing 2 complete models):

Inserts: 4x  (6,25mm x8,1)

screws: 4x (3,81mm x 12mm)

straps: 4x for attaching sandbag/ weight bad to bracket

to make a complete model you will need to print the following items:

1. Lower leg (attachment to trainer legs)
2. Base plate (v1 or v2)
3. Extender legs

Update on print profiles: 

1. Please use adapter spacers on this model. this will prevent bracket from hitting trainer wheel during movement.
2. i have modified left side base plate with loops, wall and extra spikes for grip. Use 25mm straps for attaching sandbag/ weight bag to bracket
3. I have modified right side base plate with loops and spikes, also here use 25mm strap.
