Nesting Gold Pan and Classifier
Gold panning is a small adventure with real substance. Gold is genuinely rare, and with prices rising over the years, even the tiniest flake has tangible value. You won’t strike it rich, but you are searching for something real - the legendary element that has held its worth since the dawn of mankind. This is all you need to find your own.
Gold ends up in many rivers because it’s heavy and stubborn. Look where the water slows or changes direction: inside bends, behind large stones, at the base of small drops, or in cracks and crevices in exposed bedrock. Black iron sand is your friend, it shows where heavy minerals are concentrating, and gold behaves the same way. Swish your mud around and when you're lucky you'll find tiny specs of real gold settling out in the grooves.
Panning is calm, hands-on, and rewarding. Part geology lesson, part treasure hunt, part excuse to spend time together outdoors. Also great to take along hinking, fishing or hunting.

Best printed in PETG for outdoor use but PLA is just as good for occasional use.
