This is a compact, low-profile wall hook / utility bracket designed for strength, clean mounting, and real-world use — not just aesthetics.
The design uses reinforced geometry, fillets, and chamfers to maximize durability while keeping material usage efficient. It mounts securely with two screws and provides a solid hook surface for everyday items like hats, gear, cords, or accessories.
Design Highlights
- Two-screw wall mounting for a secure, non-rotating install
- Triangular reinforced structure for strength without bulk
- Rounded edges & chamfers to add some design flair to a functional hook
- Compact footprint with excellent load distribution
Use Cases
- Hat hook (ball caps, snapbacks, trucker hats)
- Garage or workshop wall hook
- Hanging light gear, cords, headphones, or accessories
- Utility hook for closets, mudrooms, or storage areas
Printing Notes (Important)
- Orientation: Print flat on side.
Supports:
- Supports are recommended for the front access hole to ensure clean overhangs and proper screw access
- Use support blockers if your slicer supports them, or limit supports to “support critical areas only”
Recommended material:
- PLA+ for general indoor use
- PETG or ABS for garages or warmer environments
- Layer height: 0.16–0.28 mm
- Infill: 20–30% gyroid, cubic or my favorite support cubic (strength and speed combo)
- Walls: 3–4 perimeters recommended for strength
⚠️ Disclaimer: Load capacity depends on print settings, material choice, wall anchors, and installation surface. Always test before hanging valuable or heavy items.
