single plate print, simple supports. Exercise caution when removing the wing sections. It features 9 articulated parts including ailerons, flaps, vertical stabilizers, vector thrust nozzles, and a canopy. The assembly method is the same as my previous fighter series. It is best to use tools to assist when installing the ailerons and flaps as they will be tight; sanding will provide a better fit. The stand's angle is wider than before, allowing for a better display of various attitudes
The YF-23 fighter jet was a fifth-generation fighter demonstrator jointly developed by Northrop Corporation and McDonnell Douglas, intended for the United States Air Force's Advanced Tactical Fighter (ATF) program bid. Its design was highly distinctive, featuring unique diamond-shaped wings and a V-tail configuration, with a focus on superior stealth capabilities and high-speed flight performance. Its prototype first flew in 1990, demonstrating exceptional supersonic cruising potential during testing. However, in the final competition of 1991, the YF-23 lost to Lockheed's YF-22 (which eventually evolved into the F-22 'Raptor'), and its development ceased after only two prototypes were built
