Description
I tried many clips, but none of them met all my requirements:
- Easy to attach / no need to align the clip on the spool
- Fits on every spool
- Can always stay on the spool, even while printing
- Springless design (sooner or later, they all lose their spring force)
- no damage to the filament
- Makes me smile :))
Therefore I invented this smart Filament Clip.
The square and rounded one ist for all "hard" Filaments.
The octagon-shaped is for soft Filaments like TPU etc
I tested a lot of different clamping forces. If its too loose or too tight for you, just scale it 2-3% in the slicer.

Update (v2) 30.01.26: Optimized center hole with teardrop-shape for way better printing.
This prevents the filament from getting stuck in this hole, especially at the end of the spool where the filament is bent in a tighter radius.
