Description
This project includes a matched pair of protective caps designed to cover both the male and female ends of a 5-pin connector with a reversed pinout orientation.
Each set includes:
- One male connector protective cap
- One female connector protective cap
The caps are designed to help protect exposed 5-pin connectors from dust, dirt, and general handling during storage and transport. Both caps install by hand and are easy to install and remove while staying securely in place.
This reversed pinout version is intended for connectors where the orientation differs from the standard configuration. Please carefully review the project images to confirm this version matches your connector layout before printing.
The models are intended as protective accessories only and are not designed to seal or waterproof the connector. Remove before connecting accessories or operating equipment.
Print Notes:
- Prints as a matched pair
- Print upright with openings facing up
- A fine layer of internal support for the male required. (Gently twist after pritning to break loose, part should spin freely)
- PETG, ASA, or Nylon recommended
After printing, gently twist to free the internal supports if needed
