Floating Aquarium Feeding Ring / Plant Corral

There are a number of published models on MakerWorld for floating aquarium rings, but I was unhappy with the ones for several reasons:

• The diameter of the profile was too small, meaning they did not float as well as I'd like over time.
• The round profile meant that plants could easily slip over the top of the float, with plants easily encroaching (or escaping).

So I created my own version!

This comes in diameters from 240mm to 100mm nominal, in 20mm steps downward (OD/ID measurements are +/-4mm). The profile is an 4mm wide by 8mm high oval with a flat bottom edge. The raised top helps prevent unwanted plant egress, and the the flat bottom helps with floatation. The overall larger profile also increases buoyancy.
