Description

JD Yo-Yo Stand

Simple yo-yo stand/holder designed from scratch to fit most yo-yos.

If you need a simple stand for your favorite throws, try printing this:

  • Fast printing
  • No support needed
  • No brim or raft needed

This stand raises the yo-yo a bit more than other stands I've seen. This gives the yo-yo a better presentation without sacrificing stability.

For me, it is important that the stand is stable and that the yo-yo can be seated and taken fast without annoyances. Furthermore, I wanted a print that didn't require support and that wouldn't take too long to print (as yo-yo collections tend to grow rather large rather fast). This was the best solution I could come up with for that.

Guidelines for people printing on other printers than BambuLab printers:

  • To avoid stringing at the end, I suggest slowing down the printing at around layer 125.
  • Use 3 walls for stability and at least 15% infill for more weight.
