Description
Finally! A mecanum wheel that doesn't take 6 or 7 hands to assemble! (I'm sorry, my students are getting to me!) With some M3x35mm bolts and M3 nuts, you can assemble this wheel by yourself! If you have access to M3x33mm bolts they stick out less, while still fully engaging the nut. I cut down longer M3 bolts to assemble mine. These wheels have a diameter of 63.7mm, a width of 30.4mm, and 9 rollers.
If you plan to drive on surfaces with plenty of traction, PLA/PETG work fine for the rollers. If you need more traction, I highly suggest printing the rollers in TPU.
If you have a specific axle you want to use, please remix one of these profiles and share the link down in the comments! Or ask and I'll do my best to make a profile to fit that axle.
Update 2/27/26: I have added profiles to fit on to a ½in hex shaft.
Update: 3/10/26: The ½ in hex shaft profiles have been fixed and verified that they fit now.
Update 3/26/26: If you have bolts that are too long and need to be cut down, here is a jig that can be clamped in a bandsaw to hit the right length. https://makerworld.com/en/models/2564359-mecanum-wheel-bolt-cutting-jig
