Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust – 10 Slot Stone Storage Box
This is my first design, a heavy-duty storage solution specifically designed for the sharpening stones of the Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust system.
The box is engineered to hold stones measuring 153.5mm x 25.5mm x 4mm. It features a minimalist, compact design where the stones are safely recessed, protected by a precision-engineered friction-lock lid.
Key Features:
- Professional Fit: Tailored for the "Pro" series stones with a 0.5mm tolerance, providing a secure fit that prevents rattling while allowing smooth insertion.
- Recessed Protection: The slots are 26mm deep, ensuring the stones sit 0.5mm below the edge. This creates a safety gap so the lid never rubs against the abrasive surface of your stones.
- Ergonomic Access: 30mm thumb cutout makes it easy to grab and remove each stone with your fingertips.
- Smart Drainage: Each of the 10 slots features a 3.5mm ventilation hole at the base. This allows air circulation to dry damp stones and lets steel particles or dust fall through.
- Built to Last: With a 3mm wall thickness, this box is sturdy enough for any workshop or sharpening station.

Measure your stones: This design is optimized for stones that are exactly 153.5mm long, 25.5mm wide, and 4.0mm thick. While this is the standard for the Professional series, manufacturing tolerances can vary. If your stones are slightly larger, you may need to scale the model by 1-2% in your slicer.
