This small Roly-Poly coffee cup with a handle and face is designed as a playful tumbler toy – perfect for the dollhouse, desk, or as a small wobbling gimmick

🌀 ROLY-POLY FUNCTION
A metal nut is placed inside as a weight, pulling the center of gravity downwards. This causes the cup to tip when tapped, wobble briefly, and then right itself again

🖨️ PRINT SETTINGS (TESTED)

• Standard profile: 0.2 mm layer height
• Nozzle: 0.4 mm
• Shells/Walls: 2
• Infill: 0% for the cup shell
• Bottom part/Base area: 100% infill for stability
• Supports: low / minimal, only where absolutely necessary

⚙️ WEIGHT / ASSEMBLY

• Weight: 1 metal nut (e.g. M16 or comparable size, fitting the recess)
• Procedure:
  1. Print cup and base as specified
  2. Insert nut into the designated chamber
  3. Close or glue the bottom part so that the weight is securely enclosed

✅ VERIFIED
The Roly-Poly effect was actually printed and tested on a mini scale – perfect for wooden or plastic stirrers as dollhouse decoration

This Roly-Poly coffee cup with a handle and face is designed in original cup size and is perfect as a small organizer for coffee or tea stirrers, sugar cubes & co

🌀 WOBBLES, RIGHTS ITSELF AGAIN
Up to 6x M16 nuts are integrated inside, so that the cup remains stable even with some content and rights itself when nudged. For light loads, 3 nuts in the lower area are sufficient; with 6 nuts, there is enough reserve for heavier contents

🖨️ PRINT SETTINGS (TESTED, LARGE CUP)

• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Nozzle: 0.4 mm
• Shells/Walls: 2
• Infill cup body: 0% (weight comes from the nuts)
• Base/Bottom part: 100% infill for stability
• Supports: low – only in critical areas (handle / underside) to save material

⚙️ WEIGHT / USAGE

• Intended inside: up to 6x M16 nuts in the weight chamber
• Recommendation:
  • 3 nuts for light loads (wooden or plastic stirrers, empty cup)
  • Up to 6 nuts for heavier contents like sugar cubes, multiple stirrers, or small snacks
• After insertion: securely close/glue the chamber so that nothing rattles or slips

✅ TESTED IN BOTH SIZES
Both the mini variant and the large cup were actually printed and tested as Roly-Poly figures, including standard profile (0.2 mm, 2 shells, 0% / 100% infill combination)

⚠️ NOTE:

• Only intended as a decorative/organizer cup, not for use as a food cup for hot beverages
• Metal weights can have sharp edges depending on the design – please secure everything safely inside
